At milo+nicki, we’re passionate about cultivating a positive relationship with fashion and showcasing the intersectional role we play in the environment.

We know that women who believe in themselves are unstoppable. That’s why we design one-of-a-kind pieces that inspire confidence and allow women to be courageous, adventurous and unapologetically unique. It’s our mission to empower the ever-evolving woman to conquer her fears, take a leap of faith, never give up on herself, and live a life of color.

Our vision is to create apparel that embodies the female spirit and is underpinned by our commitment to sustainability. We stand for conscious consumption, quality over quantity and doing more with less. Each piece is modern yet classic, refined yet bold; designed to transcend seasons and withstand trends. We hand make each piece in limited quantities to preserve precious resources and avoid excess. 

Sustainable, ethical, cruelty-free, biodegradable, vegan - we’re lots of things. At the core of it all, we’re dedicated to having a positive impact on the planet, people and animals.

our story

The brainchild of Nicki Patel, milo+nicki is a passion project born out of a trip to rock bottom. 

Milo, a gorgeous labrador pup, was rescued by Nicki and her sister in late 2008. Fast forward six years, Nicki’s health rapidly deteriorated, mystifying doctors who simply couldn’t pinpoint the cause. Inexplicably, Milo’s health soon began to decline too.

The demise of not only her own, but dear Milo’s health prompted Nicki to turn inward and reflect on whether the paralyzing pressure of her day-to-day life was really worth it. An epiphany of sorts, Nicki quickly realized the delicate relationship between the natural environment and one’s health.

Intuitive, compassionate and fiercely loyal, it was Milo who was the catalyst for a courageous decision that saw Nicki to leave her high-stress corporate job in favor of her health, well-being and new found love for fashion. Family, love, creativity and faith became both Milo and Nicki’s medicine. 

Milo+nicki represents a collective of women unafraid to take a leap of faith in pursuit of what sets their soul on fire - no matter how big or small. milo+nicki are an inseparable, energetic duo who love hard and care deeply about the people around them and the planet we call home.
